EV Cargo is Accelerating its Green Goals

If you work with a driver recruitment/driving agency and are seeking driver jobs currently then you may be interested to know that EV Cargo are now accelerating their green goals. This is going to benefit industrial workers as well as those who are seeking warehouse jobs. The global supply management chain have come out to say that they have now taken a delivery of 10 new Volvo trucks and tractors. They are going to try and speed up carbon reduction aims and they are going to try and do this without lowering driving performance as a whole. Jack Hulse, who is the fleet manager has said that the trucks are going to arrive at the Ashby de la Zouch depot and that they are going to be there for quite some time. The customer going to Volvo comes after their strong performance with the demo model. Gareth Wakefield who is the fleet manager of EV Cargo has come out to say that as the years have gone by, they have had a very positive feedback reaction from drivers as well as fleet managers. They are doing what they can to try and capitalise on this and they are also working to try and gain some help with the fuel economy as well. This is going to grant them way more emissions savings and it is going to help them a lot over the coming years . The new trucks look to be powered by compliant engines and they are going to produce 460hp. The energy is then converted into torque and this is going to translate to the crankshaft. This is a very fuel-efficient engine to say the least and it is going to be very interesting to see how much of an impact it is able to have on the business.
