Data has Shown that There are More Truckers in the UK than Ever

Even though there are now more truckers in the UK than ever, it would appear that there is still a huge shortage in driving jobs Ireland. Those who work in driver recruitment Ireland will know what a frustrating situation this is. It would appear that there are still not enough truckers to keep up with the demand. Those who do work with a driving agency Ireland will also know that the shortage is having a huge impact on the industry. 10 years ago, when the Great Recession happened, 3.4 million people worked as drivers. The recession ended in 2009 but by 2010 it would appear that this number dropped less than 3 million. The American Trucking Association leader has stated that even though the number of truckers is rising, there is still a major issue with driver shortages. There are not enough truckers to keep up with the current demand. The number of drivers has not been in a constant decline at all, but it really is not growing enough to try and match with the growing demand.

Jeremy Reymer is the CEO and the founder of an Indianapolis recruitment service and he has agreed that the shortage is a major issue and that the current findings are not giving people the confidence they need. If something is not done soon then this could become an even bigger issue and this is not good for anyone. Of course, the decline may be a reason to worry but that being said, it's also a reason to try and instate a positive change. If something is done then this could cause the trucking industry to thrive and it may even bring about even more great movements that benefit every single person involved.
