Carlsberg Brewing Company has Introduced New Electric HGV Trucks

If you work in the business of driver recruitment or if you are seeking any driver jobs through a driving agency then you should know about the new electric trucks being launched by Carlsberg.  This may even benefit those who are seeking warehouse jobs, or even industrial workers. The brewing company are introducing two new HGV trucks to their fleet and this is the biggest in the UK that is operated by a brewer. They are doing this to try and achieve their zero-sustainability efforts. The two Renault trucks are going to be on the road by the end of July and there are going to be models which weigh in at 26 tonnes as well as 18 tonnes. The vehicles are of course, going to operate out of their distribution branches. This is going to be Essex and Cardiff. The depots are able to deliver up to 10,000 pints to pubs who need it every single day. The move to two powered vehicles will see them replace 19,000 miles of fuel-based vehicles every year. The great thing  about the partnership is that they have undergone a proof-of-concept trial. The partnership with Renault, if it proves to be successful, will see even more vehicles appear on the road. It is said that more vehicles will be added to the fleet of 270-strong in the future. The vehicles are ideal for distribution and they are also going to operate within the low emission zones. For drivers of course, the quieter and cleaner engines are going to help to reduce noise and even vibrations in the cab and it is also going to help provide a way more comfortable driving experience as well which is always good for staff members. This is going to really benefit the industry.
