Renault Trucks have chosen to broaden their range of electrical vehicles. They are doing this so that they can help all of their customers to try and speed up the transition to clean transportation. They are now offering a much wider choice of batteries for their medium vehicles and they are also making every effort to ensure that those who work in transport recruitment or even HGV jobs are given the support that they need. They are also trying to advertise the new line to those who are seeking driver jobs too.

London DVS Deadline is Putting Operators at Risk

Fleet managers are now being warned that there is a hidden deadline when it comes to applying for the DVS permit. When you look at October, you will see that goods vehicles that weigh over 12 tonnes now need to have a permit so that they can drive into Greater London. This is all based on the star rating and it basically shows how much those who work in HGV jobs or even driver jobs can see from their cab. It stops people from being put at risk when there is no need. It has been announced that the enforcement is going to be introduced from March because of the amount of upheaval that will be required from HGV drivers. This is also designed to try and give some support to those who may well need it as the result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Right now, it would seem that there is a deadline for those who work in the driving industry or even in transport recruitment. Of course, only time will tell what the future holds but right now it looks like there is a lot of upheaval as the result of the coronavirus pandemic. The deadline basically does not allow for time if, for any reason at all, your application is rejected. This means that the applications need to be sent out in plenty of time so that you can avoid any headaches when it comes to liability. Of course, any additional factors that have to be taken into account would include the fact that applications need to be sent out in good enough because manufacturers are taking upwards of 2 weeks to respond to any star rating issues. Fleet managers need to make sure that they take this into account because there is an additional deadline date which is January 2021.

The Heavy Transport Association have chosen to initiate the first of many new programs. This is going to look at the various aspects of the movement for any loads that may seem abnormal. They are also going to analyse any good practices in the UK and they are also going to try and ensure the movement is not limited in any way. When you look at the SABLE project, you will soon see that they are able to bring a huge range of stakeholders and this includes route surveyors, consultations and even permit agents too.

Of course, if you work in transport recruitment, driver jobs or even HGV jobs you will understand more than anyone how important this is for the economy as it will help to ensure that no abnormal loads are transported. It will also help to keep everyone safe as well, so it's very important to keep this in mind if at all possible. The project is being led by the Transafe Network. They are going to put in the effort to try and examine the practices that are involved in the risk assessments that take place, and they are also going to identify any future practices which may have the potential to enhance the safety even more. Of course, this is going to include a number of practices that will improve the safety on the roads for so many other people too.

If you want more information on this or if you want to sign up to the SABLE network, then you'll be glad to know that this is very easy to do. You would be surprised at how much this could affect the industry and of course, movements like this are always a welcome addition for the industry as a whole.

Quality Freight are one of the UK's leaders when it comes to shipping and forwarding. They are owned by Peel Ports and they have stated that they are doing everything they can to try and make sure that they are preparing robust and custom clearances that are designed to help with the unwanted delays that are associated with the system that is in place.

Michael Gove has written a letter which details all of the haulage associations. They have warned that well over 7,000 trucks could well find themselves queuing up for days in Kent as the result of the delays that are associated with Brexit. This would reduce the amount of movement that category one goods have. This would include essentials such as medicine, food and even hospital equipment too.

Sebastian Gardiner has stated that as the negotiations carry on, a lot of people still do not know if the government are going to be able to reach a final deal or not. When you look at the certainties though, it would seem that a lot of the clearance processes are going to change. Quality Freight are set up for both eventualities and they are trying to do everything they can to make sure that they seamlessly move goods from one place to another.

importing or even exporting, the right clearance paperwork is crucial and it would also seem that any missing or even any inaccurate documentation would in fact come with some additional risk. If you are working in the industry of transport recruitment, HGV jobs or even driver jobs then you will know what an impact this could have and that it truly is so important for people to stay updated so that they can prepare for some of the many outcomes they may need to face at a later date.
