Quicktemp are recruiting on behalf of a respected specialist crane hire and transport operator based in Windlesham, Surrey.
This is an opportunity to work with a professional lifting company involved in high-capacity crane operations, specialist transport, machinery movement, and complex lifting projects across commercial and construction environments. For the right driver, this role has strong potential for ongoing work.
The role:
- Operating high tonne-metre, unlimited capacity HIAB cranes
- Remote-control crane operation
- Heavy lifting of machinery, structural steel, plant equipment and specialist materials
- Working across commercial, industrial and construction sites
- Carrying out lifting operations in line with current health & safety regulations
- Liaising professionally with site managers, contractors and clients
- Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
Essential Requirements:
- Valid HGV Licence (Class 2)
- ALLMI Lorry Loader Certificate – Unlimited Capacity (ESSENTIAL)
- Remote Control Certification
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Demonstrable experience with heavy / high-capacity crane lifts
- Strong safety awareness and professional site manner
Desirable:
- Fly-jib experience
- Slinger/Signaller qualification
- Experience within contract lift or specialist lifting environments
