HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER

Are you a dependable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver based in or around Swadlincote, Derbyshire? We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing logistics provider that supports key construction and building supply operations across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure part-time, ongoing work with a company that values its drivers and offers a supportive working environment.

The role:

• Combination of trunk runs and multi-drop deliveries
• Transporting construction equipment and building materials
• Minimal manual handling – goods are typically unloaded by on-site machinery
• Conducting pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
• Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner

Location:

• Based in Swadlincote, operating across Derbyshire and nearby areas

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) – 2 years’ experience preferred
• Up-to-date CPC and Tachograph card
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries is highly desirable
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no disqualifications)
• Physically fit and capable of meeting daily driving demands
• Professional, punctual, and dependable with good communication skills
