HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

Are you an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (Category CE) driver based in Swindon or the surrounding Wiltshire area? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected and expanding transport and logistics company that supports major UK retailers, manufacturers, and supply chains.

This is a great opportunity to join a trusted logistics partner offering nationwide trunking work, consistent hours, and long-term potential.

The role:

• Nationwide Class 1 trunk runs
• Working with refrigerated goods, curtainside pallet loads, and precious cargo
• Pre- and post-journey vehicle checks
• Safe, timely deliveries to depots or client locations
• Adhering to all health & safety and road regulations
• Punctuality and professionalism are essential

Location:

• Based in Swindon, covering Wiltshire and wider UK routes

Requirements:

• Held a valid HGV Class 1 licence for 2 years or more with relevant driving experience
• Full, valid CPC and Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points – no previous disqualifications
• Must pass a drug and alcohol test prior to induction
• Appropriate PPE must be worn
• Physically fit – occasional manual handling may be required
• Flexible approach – open to day, night and weekend shifts
