Description

Quicktemp are a market leading UK transport recruitment company, who are looking for enthusiastic and reliable candidates who are passionate about their work within the transport/industrial sector.

A great opportunity has become available for a Class 2 Driver looking for an ongoing role in the Farnborough area .The ideal candidate will have previous experience in palletised multi-drop and be confident and comfortable in driving a HGV vehicle.

Specifics within this role :

Transporting and delivering palletised goods to various customers
Supervise the loading of the vehicle so that products are safely encumbered and secure to minimise chances of damage.
Communicate with transport team to keep them updated where you are throughout the day
Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe to execute and respect customer’s property; if in doubt, consult with the customer and/or Transport Manager.
Check goods off with Customers and obtain signature and print. If any errors mark ticket accordingly and consult with Transport Manager or planner.
Handle customer issues on delivery effectively.

Essential Requirements:

Happy to work for 10 hours minimum per shift
No disqualifications on licence
Valid CPC
Valid Tachograph Card
5 years Employment History
Happy to Commute

Preferred experience:

2 years
